I am team green and each time I go for my appointments, I notice that the baby's heart rate is getting lower. Yesterday it was 140. People automatically assume its a boy. Anyone having a girl and her heart rate running in 140's?
Mine! She started in the 160s but is down to th 140s now. And I don't believe in those at all either... when DH was in utero they told his mom he was going to be a girl because his heart rate was above 165 the entire pregnancy. Needless to say they were wrong because he is most definitely not a girl.
The highest Caroline's hr has gotten is 161. Normally it's in the 130s- the low 150s. It also has a lot to do with what they are up to in there. One of my girlfriend's had a son whose hr was always in the 170s.
Our baby girl has been in the 140's. it's funny because both of our boys had higher heart rates the entire time. So, if we went by that owt, I would have 2 girls and one boy!

My heartrate and my sister's were both in the 120s. I think her DD's heartrate was also low. DD was in that range to begin with but sped up a while back.

I'm having a girl and my last appt her heart rate was 135
Both my DS and now DD's heart rates have been running about the same. (Started in the 160's, and have consistently been in the 150's since January.) It's said that heart-rate has no bearing on gender, scientifically.
I was told the heart rate declines the farther we get into the pg because the baby is maturing. It's a good sign that the rate is going down.
I personally don't read into any of those OWT's
This. I am having a boy, but his HR has slowly declined the further along I get. According to the OWT he was a girl until 25 weeks when he miraculously turned into a boy! Old wives tales are just that, tales.

Lost Lilah (Audra's twin) at 26 weeks. Cause unknown. Forever in our hearts
Yep, here too. Low 140s every time! (The first appt she was in the 150s.)
My twin girls both had h/b of around 170 in the 1st trimester and this baby girl started out at 186.
All 3 dropped down to the 140-150's during the 3rd trimester though. I can't remember how low it went, but its normal for it to go down.

Yes, I have a blog and it's hilarious (except when it's not)

We're having a girl and the first time we heard her heartbeat (w18) she was at 150 and we listened today and it was in the 130's.
Of course it can vary, depending on activity and alot of things
